Terms of Service
Last updated: June 2026
1. Welcome
Pastures is a social platform built for the furry and pup communities. By creating an account or using any part of the service, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree with something here, please don't use Pastures.
2. You Must Be 18 or Older
Pastures is strictly for adults 18 and up. By signing up you confirm you are at least 18 years old. Any account discovered to belong to a minor will be removed without warning.
Lying about your age to get into an adult space is not a small thing — it puts the entire community at risk and ruins spaces that exist specifically for adults. Confirmed underage accounts will be removed and may result in device-level bans across Pastures.
3. Speech, Respect, and Safety
Pastures values open expression and the freedom to be yourself. That freedom comes with responsibility: it does not include the right to harass, dehumanize, or endanger other people.
Transphobia, homophobia, racism, ableism, sexism, and other forms of targeted hate are not welcome here. Pastures is intentionally a safe field for LGBTQIA+ folks and every marginalized community in the fandom.
4. Your Privacy
We do not sell your personal data. Information we collect is used to operate and improve Pastures and to keep the community safe. See our Privacy Policy for the details on what we store and why.
5. Zero Tolerance Content
The following will get you removed from Pastures immediately and permanently:
- Zoophilia. Any content depicting or promoting sexual acts involving real animals, or that sexualizes real animals in any way.
- Content involving minors. Any sexual content involving minors, real or drawn, is forbidden and will be reported to the appropriate authorities.
- Nazi and white-supremacist material. Swastikas, SS imagery, fascist propaganda, and similar hate symbols and ideologies.
- Hate groups in the fandom. Promoting the Furry Raiders or any other group whose purpose is hatred or discrimination dressed up in fandom clothing.
- Ban evasion. If your account has been banned, creating new accounts, aliases, or otherwise sneaking back in is a violation. A ban means you are no longer welcome.
These rules are enforced without warning. We reserve the right to report illegal content to law enforcement.
6. Community Guidelines
Pastures is built on respect, inclusivity, and creativity. Targeted harassment, bullying, intimidation, doxxing, and threats are not allowed.
Most rule-breaking starts with a warning and removal of the offending content. Repeat or severe violations result in permanent account termination, sometimes immediately and without warning depending on what happened.
7. AI Art and Witch Hunts
We understand that AI-generated artwork is a live debate in the community. Pastures takes no side on the ethics, but we do take a firm stance on how members treat each other:
- No witch hunts. Organizing or piling on against a user you suspect of using AI is prohibited.
- No baseless accusations. Publicly accusing someone's art of being AI without solid evidence is harassment.
- No "AI-looking" targeting. Going after artists because their style looks unusual to you is not allowed.
Most online "AI detectors" are unreliable and frequently produce false positives. They are not proof. First offense gets a warning and content removal. Continued behavior results in a permanent ban.
8. Artist Credit and Fursona Ownership
Credit your artists. When you upload art that someone else drew — commissioned, gifted, or otherwise — you must credit the artist. Failure to do so may result in content removal.
Don't steal fursonas. Claiming, copying, or impersonating someone else's character or fursona design will result in an immediate permanent ban. This includes posting their art as your own, copying a distinctive design, or pretending to be them.
Fursonas are personal. Be creative, make it yours, and respect what other people have built.
9. Adult and Public-Facing Content
Adult content is permitted on Pastures when properly tagged and placed in the right sections of your profile. Profile pictures and cover photos are public-facing and must not contain explicit imagery.
The pup play community is fully welcome — pup hoods in profile pictures and cover photos are absolutely fine. Anything illegal under applicable law is not.
10. Inclusivity
Pastures is for everyone in the fandom. We celebrate the pup play community, kink communities operating within our rules, and every flavor of self-expression that doesn't harm others. This is a space to be authentically yourself.
11. Drama and the Report System
We are not the fandom police, and Pastures is not a courtroom.
Off-platform drama is not our jurisdiction. If something happened on another site, in DMs elsewhere, or in someone's Discord, we are not going to act on it here.
Don't weaponize reports. The report system exists to protect the community, not to settle grudges. Coordinated mass reporting, rallying followers to flood reports, and filing false reports are all violations and will be acted on against the reporter, not the target.
The fandom is weird — that's the point. As long as someone follows the rules and the law, we are not going to ban them because their interests make you uncomfortable. Babyfurs, pups, kink-positive folks, and other corners of the community all belong here.
Purity policing is not welcome. Moral crusades aimed at shaming or pushing out other members for legal, rule-following behavior will be treated as harassment.
Politics alone are not grounds for removal. People are allowed to disagree with you. Political expression that crosses into hate speech or harassment (see Section 5) is a different matter and will be handled accordingly.
If someone bothers you and isn't breaking a rule: block them and move on.
12. Disposable Email Addresses
Pastures does not accept signups using disposable or temporary email services (Mailinator, Guerrilla Mail, 10 Minute Mail, Temp-Mail, and similar). Real email addresses help us prevent ban evasion, contact you about account security, and keep bad actors out.
- Known throwaway domains are blocked at signup.
- Accounts later found to use throwaway emails may be suspended until a real address is provided.
- Trying to work around this — with aliases, obscure throwaway providers, or similar — is itself a violation.
13. Bots and Automation
Pastures is built for real people. Automated accounts, scripted activity, and bot farms are not welcome here.
- No automated accounts. Accounts driven primarily by scripts, bots, or AI agents — including auto-posting, auto-following, auto-liking, or auto-messaging — are prohibited.
- No bot farms. Operating, contributing to, or coordinating with infrastructure that creates or controls inauthentic accounts results in permanent removal of every connected account.
- No account selling or trading. Accounts belong to the people who created them.
- No scraping. Crawlers, scrapers, or other tools that harvest content from Pastures outside of features we officially provide are not allowed.
- No fake engagement. Inflating followers, likes, or any other metric with automation is prohibited.
- No scam or spam bots. Bots used to push external links, crypto, scams, or to impersonate users are a top-priority threat and treated as such.
- Don't defeat anti-abuse systems. Bypassing captcha, email verification, rate limits, or other protective measures is a direct violation.
Official Pastures features that involve automation will always be clearly labeled and operated by us — never by third parties posing as real users.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. For significant changes we'll notify users by email or in-app. Continued use of Pastures after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
